News and events 2008 Museum is featured in car mag
Mouldsworth Museum featured in a two-page spread in 'Classic & Sports Car' (January 2008, pp50-51) The magazine's Mick Walsh asked museum proprietor James Peacop about his collection of mascots and memorabilia, especially items from the 1930s and Art Deco period. "From mascots to posters, product packaging to book illustration, the eclectic range vividly brings the age to life for visitors..."
In the spring, the North West Lancashire Branch of the Morris Minor
Club visited the Museum and attended an illustrated talk
In April we welcomed the Mercedes Benz Club (North Western Section) which was very well organised by John Collier.
The club members had coffee in Delamere Forest at 10am, followed by a
Museum visit and talk, and then lunch at the Goshawk in Mouldsworth -
a very successful day! In May we had a nursery school visit and a 'Guy' London Transport bus that successfully managed to negotiate our Art Deco gates!
